Dear Ex-Friend:

It was insensitive of me to, even though I do feel that you played a part in what happened with DCF, to post anything related to you, even if I did not name names or make your identity known. Realizing my lack of sensitivity with this issue, after you contacted me, I took it down to appease you.

I am sorry if you feel publicly humiliated by anything I wrote (even though you remained anonymous) way back when but is what you are doing here any better? It has been just about a year since this whole mess started. I don’t enjoy fighting or arguing and am a conflict avoider so I let my silence speak for me.

Even if you didn’t call DCF, it was too coincidental in my opinion that the report mimicked everything that you said about me in your IMs the night before. It made it likely that you were involved in one manner or another. It’s not a chance I was willing to take. I really just wanted for this whole thing to die down and to go on with my life. Yeah, that post I made about my DCF experiences wasn’t my brightest or most thoughtful idea yet I don’t understand why you would you still be trying to drudge up the past after all this time.

I apologize for any way you feel I’ve wronged you or defamed you in that post but it doesn’t even come close to all the hateful things you have said about me. I just want this to end already. I am begging you, please just stop contacting me.

Ok, I’ve always wondered where exactly should one start? Should I just write a post that doesn’t even acknowledge the first post of a brand new blog or should I structure a post on it entirely?

I’ve decided to skip writing about myself (there is an about the AntiBarbie page for those who are interested in such things) and talk a little about what this blog is all about. I created this blog as a way of getting some of my dark fiction out there and discussing things that I find amusing, twisted, or both.

I decided to host my own blog so that I am not censored. I write horror stories and sometimes “Oh, Shoot!” just doesn’t cut it. Aside from that, I have no qualms about using cuss words, especially when I am ranting. So, be forewarned; if you are overly sensitive to “naughty” language, you might want to move on to a more suitable blogging environment.

I will be using this platform to showcase my writing, not because it’s otherwise unpublishable, but because it saves me more time then going through the whole process of submitting to several e-zines, waiting for replies then waiting for the story to come out…. Blah! Blah, I say! I don’t have the patience for it. I am an American and I demand instant gratification! By doing things this way I can finish writing a story at 5:01 and have it up for people to view by 5:02. I am cutting out the middle man. He’s just too slow. He had to go.

The last thing I want to discuss is a little thing called “Link Love”. I have turned off “NoFollow” tags on my blog. For those of you who are webmasters, it means you can get some PR juice from the backlinks you receive when you comment on the posts here.
